store - zwischen experiment und harmonischer leichtigkeit

mit "seltene erden" liefert burkhard kerlin a.k.a. store einen exklusiven release für tonAtom, der es in sich hat: zwischen minimal und erstaunlicher leichtigkeit changieren die 4 tracks, die mit einer gesamtlaufzeit von über 20 minuten die kapazität einer 3"-ep vollständig ausnutzen. sicher keine einfache kost, sondern intelligente musik, die einen aufmerksamen zuhörer erfordert.und dennoch nehmen diese "seltenen erden" jeden sofort gefangen und hinterläßt diese e.p. nicht erst nach dem verklingen des letzten tons des zerbrechlichen "yttrium" ein angenehmes wohlgefühl. burkhard kerlin a.k.a. store delivers "seltene erden" ("rare soils"), an exclusive release for tonAtom, and an impressive one: the 4 tracks vary between minimal and surprising easiness and with a total playing time of more than 20 minutes make use of the full capacity of the 3" e.p. no slight fare, but intelligent music, asking for an active audience. but nevertheless those tracks will capture anybody instantly and will leave them with a pleasent sense of well-being, when the final note of the fragile "yttrium" fades away (matthias reinwarth)
