der dritte release auf tonAtom oder drei neue titel, der releasename passt auf beides. die wichtige aussage dahinter ist aber einfach, dass es einen neuen aljen-release gibt und vieles liebgewonnene bleibt erhalten. der wahl-lübecker aljen (=aleksander jensko) macht es dem nebenbeihörer mit stücken bis zu einer länge von über 11 minuten zwar wieder nicht einfach (warum sollte er das auch), belohnt aber dafür wieder mit werken, die so hoch, breit und tief sind, dass man sich gerne darin aufhält, die atmosphäre genießt und entsetzt den "nochmal"-knopf drückt, wenn sie vorbei sind.
die tracks funktionieren sowohl pur als auch als klanginstallationen im rahmen von vernissagen (termine immer mal wieder im tonAtom-blogg) als teil des gesamtspektrums von aljens künstlerischen arbeiten. großes kino als kunst mit tiefe und augenzwinkern zugleich.

his third release on tonAtom or just three new tracks - the release titel fits both. the important thing about it is that there is a new aljen release and the good things we have got used to still remain. aljen (=aleksander jensko) has chosen to make it not easy for casual listeners (but why should he anyway) with tracks of up 11 minutes length. but the reward is that those tracks are that large and deep so that it is a pleasure to be "in" them, to enjoy their atmosphere and to press the "again" button, when they are suddenly over.
these tracks work out either on their own but also in sound installations as part of exhibitions (look out for dates in the tonAtom blogg) representing one facette of aljen's artistic works. music like a big picture with both depth and a pinch of salt.
