andreas usenbenz beweist mit seinem zweiten projekt neben sonovo, dass die wiederentdeckung der langsamkeit möglich und nötig ist. er nimmt sich und gibt uns die zeit, seine klanglandschaften zu erforschen. wenn man dies tut, bemerkt man schnell, dass bei nobile nicht drones und klangcluster einfach aufeinander gestapelt werden. sondern dass strukturen und texturen in die zumeist aus streicherklängen gebildeten tonwerke gewebt sind. da kommt keine langeweile, sondern wohlbehagen auf.
der soundtrack für graue novembernachmittage, wobei nobile für das akustische äquivalent von kerzenlicht und tee sorgt.

andreas usenbenz (through his second project besides sonovo) delivers the proof that it's possible and necessary to rediscover slowness. he takes his time and thus gives us the time to explore his soundscapes. while doing so you will realize that nobile does not merely pile up drones and clusters. rather there are structures and textures woven into the soundworks made mainly from string sounds. resulting not in boredom but in comfort.
this is the soundtrack for grey november afternoons, and nobile takes care of the acoustic equivalents of candle light and tea.
